Key Requirements for Establishing Your Poultry Farm
- Ensure year-round water supply with TDS below 750 ppm and pH 6.0–8.5.
- Shed breadth: 25 feet; floor raised 2 feet above ground.
- Install electricity with one tube light per 400 sq. ft.
- Add a footbath with disinfectant for biosecurity.
- Keep a feed storage room near the shed.
- Use two 500-liter water tanks: one for water, one for medicines.
- Install side curtains on both inside and outside walls.
- Partition the shed into 500 sq. ft sections.
- Provide a 3x3 ft platform for weighing scales.
